24 Hour HAZWOPER

Description

This comprehensive training is recommended for all employees who have a potential for hazardous substance exposure while performing their required duties. It meets off-site training requirements for general site workers and RCRA operations site workers. Emergency response personnel and other hazardous materials workers will find this course to be extremely valuable for initial training. At least 1/3 of this training involves hands-on exercises.

• Hazards recognition and incident prevention;
• Selection, use and care of personal protective equipment;
• Site safety and health responsibilities, plans and procedures;
• Emergency response planning and spill containment;
• Decontamination methods and procedures;
